Buy on AmazonKarambit blade shape on a 2-inch blade is unusual. Most karambits are bigger and look more aggressive than they need to. The Incisor II splits the difference: hawksbill curve gives you the pull-cut leverage karambits are known for, but at a footprint that doesn’t make a scene at the coffee shop.
The understated payoff is the steel. Nitro-V is the unsung hero of this knife - CIVIVI puts it on a budget folder and it actually holds up. Corrosion-resistant, takes a fine edge, doesn’t chip out the way some harder steels do at 60 HRC. It’s the best argument for buying CIVIVI specifically over a generic “tactical” folder at this price.
Mechanics are good for the money. Button lock disengages with the same hand that’s holding the knife. Caged ceramic ball bearings on the pivot mean it flips smoothly with the flipper tab or the thumb hole. The pocket clip is reversible (tip-up, left or right). The finger ring at the rear acts as a retention loop or as an alternative way to carry the knife on a lanyard.
At 3.28 oz it disappears in a pocket. Honest use cases I have for it: opening cardboard boxes (the curve loves cardboard), cutting paracord, light food prep on a picnic, breaking down packaging. Use cases I do not have for it: any kind of self-defense theater. Buy this because it cuts well and looks good doing it, not because it looks tactical.
Note: laws on karambits and folding knives vary by state and city. Check your local rules before carry.
